Bio
Margaret Schnipper’s filmmaking experience spans nearly two decades, progressing from script supervising for established directors in New York and Los Angeles to the writing, directing and producing of commercials, PSAs, promos and short films. She started Little Atom Films as the company behind the short films she was creating, but soon expanded it to function in an agency capacity to develop clients’ branding concepts.
She can whip together a concept treatment, scripts & copy for any project, and brings the creative sense to develop a beautiful end piece within a limited budget. Familiar with all camera types and a shooter of her own Canon 5D, she has the insight to match a shooting style to the creative concept. Additionally, she has worked on set with subjects at all levels of experience – from fledgling actors to globally recognized pop-star personalities, and even European royalty. Her recently penned screenplay L, Williamsburg has won her a film festival award in 2011, and she has several other scripts in various stages of re-write. Her narrative short films, Down the Drain & Bunny Hunt, traveled to film festivals throughout the US, Europe and South America.
